Mediaweek—SQAD Acquires Wrapsidy
Wrapsidy's software applications will be added to SQAD's SNAP software product for analyzing ratings in local TV markets.

SQAD, a research firm best known for cost reporting and forecasting, announced it had acquired Wrapsidy, which provides software for processing spot ratings Nielsen overnight and sweeps period spot ratings. Wrapsidy's software applications will be added to SQAD's SNAP software product for analyzing ratings in local TV markets.
Andy Eshkar, the founder of Wrapsidy will continue with SQAD as vp of WRAP products. He will be working with Brian Uyeda, director of SNAP product development for SQAD.
"Adding Wrapsidy's best-in-class WRAP Overnights and WRAP Sweeps products to our product line alongside SNAP, is another quantum step forward for us and our customers," said Neil Klar, CEO of SQAD, which purchased SNAP in 2000.
One of SQAD's first priorities for integrating Wrapsidy into SQAD's product line is to merge SQAD's Spot TV Cost Per Rating Point data into the WRAP products.
