This Privacy Policy describes the type of information SQAD, LLC (“SQAD”) collects from this Site and how that information may be used. This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service, as may be modified from time to time, govern your use of this website, (www.sqad.com) (the “Site”). Your continued use of the Site signifies your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Modifications

SQAD may, in its sole discretion and at any time, modify this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, by posting a modified Privacy Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will operate as an acknowledgment of your acceptance of the then current Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy will include the date SQAD last updated the Privacy Policy.

Information Collection

You are not required to provide information, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, company name, title or other information, that might reasonably be used to identify you personally (“Personal Information”) to make general non-subscriber use of this Site. SQAD will only collect Personal Information when it is provided to us by you such as when signing up for SQAD’s newsletter, in order to enable data delivery and billing for subscribers or when otherwise provided by you in an email, on a registration form, in an online survey, or in other similar transmissions. To help us monitor Site usage patterns and to help us improve this Site, we may use certain technologies, including cookies and/or log files, to gather information that does not reveal your identity (“Generic Information”), such as information about the Internet Protocol address assigned to your computer, browser type, internet service provider (“ISP”), platform type, date/time visited, the number and frequency of visits, number of clicks, referring/exit websites and the web pages visited. We may use Personal Information we collect only to contact you or to send you news and information about SQAD, SQAD products, SQAD events, SQAD publications, or subscriber-related communications or data. To opt-out of receiving future mailings, see the Opt-Out section below. We do not share Personal Information we collect with third parties for their marketing purposes. If we use third parties to provide specific services or information to you, those third parties may be allowed to use your Personal Information to provide such services. Additionally, SQAD may share Personal Information or Generic Information when they believe it is necessary to comply with the law, or court order, to protect our interests or property or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the Site and/or any service offered therein and you hereby agree to such disclosure. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers or government agencies in connection with investigating reports of users using a false email address or users sending harassing, threatening, or abusive messages or other issues related to fraud or government subpoenas, warrants and/or court orders. SQAD may share Generic Information we collect with our affiliates, contractors, and other third parties. In the event some or all of the business assets of SQAD are sold or transferred, SQAD will likely transfer the Personal Information or Generic Information.\

Opt-Out

You may choose to opt-out of receiving e-mail messages with news and information about SQAD by sending an email from the e-mail address at which you are receiving the messages to info@sqad.com, requesting that your email address be removed.

Security

Unfortunately, data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be secure nor is any security system completely secure. SQAD does not guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or provide to us online. We request that you do not send, and SQAD will not be liable for your sending sensitive or confidential information electronically.

Children Under 16

This Site is not directed at children 16 years of age or younger. SQAD will not intentionally collect information about any user under the age of 16 without first obtaining parental consent. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. This Site may provide links to third party websites. Even if the third party is affiliated with SQAD through a business partnership or otherwise, SQAD is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of such external websites.

Our Do Not Track Policy

Some browsers have a ”do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not respond to browser “do not track” signals, but we do provide you the option to opt out of interest-based advertising. California Privacy Rights
